Information on buying tickets 

What happens to the cards I have already purchased? 

Please let us know your new preferred date, stating your booking number. If you bought your tickets via our web shop or the hotline, we will be happy to rebook you free of charge and will send you the current tickets contactlessly. 

If you cannot find an alternative date, you will receive a voucher for the amount you have already paid. You can reach us at daniela.scholz@orangerie.berlin or 030 258 10 35 01 

If you bought your tickets from another provider, we ask you to contact them to rebook. 

We will be happy to inform you about the latest changes here, by phone on 030 25 81 03 50 and via our social media channels. 

As a concert company without government funding - we finance ourselves solely from ticket income from our events - the renewed closure hits us particularly hard. For this reason, we are very committed to you if we can rebook the tickets you have already booked for a later date or send you a voucher.

How does ticket purchase work and will there be a box office?

Tickets for the Berlin Residence Concerts are available as usual in our shop (link), by phone on 030 258 10 35 0 (Mon - Fri 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.), in the Altes Schloss museum shop at Charlottenburg Palace (Tue - Sun 10 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.) and at the box office 30 minutes before the start of the event. 

What happens if a concert has to be canceled? 

If a concert has to be canceled due to Corona, you can exchange the tickets you bought via our web shop or the hotline free of charge. Please let us know your new preferred date, stating your booking number. We will be happy to rebook you free of charge and send you the current cards contactlessly.

Your visit to the Berlin Residence Concerts

How is the admission regulated?

Admission to the concert is strictly regulated. Each guest (with the exception of guests who are part of a booking) is invited in individually and accompanied by our staff to their seat. 

Do I have to leave my contact details? 

We are obliged to record the contact details (name, address and telephone number) of all concert visitors. Please leave your details on the form provided. 

Will there be a cloakroom? 

We are currently unable to offer a cloakroom service. Please take your jacket with you to your assigned seat. 

Is there a free choice of seats? 

Your concert ticket guarantees a seat within a certain block. We will assign you a seat on site in the order of your arrival. 

Do you have to wear mouth and nose protection? 

Mouth and nose protection must be worn at the inlet and outlet as well as in the sanitary area. You can take off the mouth and nose protection at your place during the concert. 

How long is the concert? 

The concert lasts about 80 minutes and is played without a break. 

Is there a drink offer? 

The purchase of a drink is only possible after admission to the orangery hall and before the concert. Since we are currently not serving drinks for hygienic reasons, we currently only offer drinks in single-portion bottles. Straws and / or disposable glasses are available for you. Cash and card payments are possible. 

Can I rebook my concert tickets if I am sick? 

Yes, we have adjusted our exchange conditions to reflect this unusual situation. If you feel ill or do not want to attend our concerts for other reasons, we will exchange the tickets you have already purchased via our web shop or the hotline for another event or for vouchers. 

Important: Please contact our ticket hotline 030-2581035-0 or send an email to tickets@orangerie.berlin prior to the event, stating your booking number. 

If you bought your tickets from another provider, please contact them. 

When are you not allowed to come to our concert? 

Please stay at home if you have symptoms such as dry cough, sore throat, loss of taste / smell, breathing problems, body aches, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In these cases, entering the premises of the Great Orangery is not permitted.

What do I have to consider when visiting the Berlin Residence Concerts? 

Regular, thorough hand washing with soap for at least 20 seconds. Make sure you keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters Keep your hands away from your face as much as possible Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes with unwashed hands Use a tissue to cough or sneeze. If this is not there, hold the crook of your arm in front of your mouth and nose As a risk patient, avoid large crowds Think about visiting our concerts if you have flu-like symptoms Take care of those around you and act prudently

TOGETHER AGAINST CORONA

In the Great Orangery, the health and safety of our guests and employees are a top priority. Therefore, we closely monitor the situation regarding corona virus every day and keep in touch with the responsible authorities. We are looking forward to welcoming you as guests again and have therefore taken preventive measures recommended by the responsible authorities to make events as safe as possible.

The following protective measures have already been implemented:

  • Hourly disinfection of all work surfaces and handles
  • Hygiene rules and regulations in all rest rooms
  • Minimum distance of 1.50 meters

We think better save than sorry and take further action as stated below:

Before starting to work our employees must submit a written statement that they don´t show any symptoms that may indicate a coronavirus infection. Our employees receive a daily instruction regarding any update of infection and hygiene regulations. During the event there´s one employee present that is responsible for compliance with all hygiene regulations and continuous disinfection.

These measures will be continuously adapted, expanded and improved in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities. Our employees and service providers are regularly informed about the measures for disease prevention.

While enjoying our events we would kindly ask you to

  • Wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds.
  • Make sure that you keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters to each other
  • Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, mouth
  • Use a handkerchief to cough or sneeze. If this is not available, use the   crook of your arm
  • Avoid large crowds as a risk patient
  • If you discover having flu-like symptoms please stay at home and reschedule your concert visit
  • Pay attention to your environment and act accordingly using common sense

 

The current situation is as new and unexpected for us as it is for you, therefore we apologize for any inconvenience these rules may cause and ask for your patience and good will.
