From June 2021, when the palace gardens are in splendid bloom, the Berlin Residence Orchestra invites you to an exclusive series of concerts in the White Hall in the New Wing of Charlottenburg Palace on selected Saturday evenings - enjoy classical music in the festive atmosphere until December Enchant ambience.
The White Hall, inaugurated by Frederick the Great in 1742, enchants with its light pastel tones, golden putti and playful creations. The mythological ceiling painting in soft colors is an eye-catcher.
The chamber ensemble of the Berlin Residence Orchestra brings works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Luigi Boccherini, Johann Pachelbel and Antonio Vivaldi to life for you with its virtuoso playing.
The ambience of the White Hall with its dominant color scheme of white, delicate green, rose and gold in the light space invites you to bring the compositions of the late Baroque and the pre-classical period, which are often inspired by nature, to blossom - they are found in the decoration of the Hall on the large, shaping rocailles completely naturalistic ornaments such as shells, snail shells, flowers or grapes. In this festive and at the same time intimate atmosphere you will enjoy the gorgeous string concerts in an exclusive setting and with the currently required distance from each other.
