New Year’s Concert – Festive New Year’s Eve

The year 2024 has begun its journey in the circle of times - let us welcome it musically with a concert in Viennese style in the glamorous atmosphere of the Great Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace! With Mozart's "A Little Night Music" we take a brief look back at the past year - the serenade stands for the beautiful in music as well as in life & reminds us that despite many uncertainties, touching & joyful moments were also inherent in the past year. After that, the musical journey into the new year will be much more spirited - the duet "Lips are silent" & the aria "Da geht' ich zu Maxim" from Franz Lehár's operetta "The Merry Widow" provide momentum and liveliness. The old Viennese dance tunes "Schön Rosmarin", "Liebesfreud" & "Liebesleid" by Fritz Kreisler in their charming salon music style will possibly awaken the joy of dancing in you - maybe a nice resolution for the New Year?
