Charlottenburg Palace - a grandiose & glamorous backdrop to say goodbye to the past year with an atmospheric & colorful concert & to welcome a new year to the spirited sounds of the Berliner Residenz Ensemble conducted by Alexandra Rossmann, which may bring us all peace & confidence. Let yourself be seduced at the end of the year with a Viennese-style gala! Mozart's "A Little Night Music" with its touching beauty sets the mood for this musical journey, which then continues in a spirited and sensual way - this is ensured by the duet "Lips are silent" and the aria "Da geht' ich zu Maxim" from Franz Lehár's operetta "The Merry Widow" as well as the charming miniatures in the style of salon music by Fritz Kreisler. His old Viennese dance tunes "Schön Rosmarin" as well as "Liebesfreud" & "Liebesleid" bring an exhilarating, tongue-in-cheek touch to the concert. Festive dinner at the turn of the year

Upon request, our court master of ceremonies will invite you to a royal "New Year's Dinner" in the west wing of the Great Orangery before the concert. Look forward to a three-course menu made from delicious ingredients & very charming table music that will get you in the mood for the concert at the turn of the year in royal flair!
