How can I purchase tickets? How can I pay for them?

  • You can purchase tickets online here,

    • from 08:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Mondays – Fridays
  • in person at the Museum Shop (Spandauer Damm 10, 14059 Berlin) from 10.00 AM – 5.00 PM on Tuesdays – Sundays,
  • and at the box office on performance days (dinner as available) 30 minutes before concert start
     

How you can pay for your tickets

  • At our webshop you can pay with credit card (Mastercard or VISA), Paypal or by bank transfer,
  • by telephone you can pay with credit card or by bank transfer,
  • and at the box office you can with cash, or with debit or credit card. (At the New Wing you can only pay with cash!)

When and where can I pick up my ticket if I purchased it online?

If you ordered your ticket through the Orangery directly (whether online or by telephone), it is simplest to pick up your tickets immediately preceding the event.
If you ordered your ticket through Groupon, Viator, Classic Tic, Expedia or any other ticketing agent, you do NOT need to trade your voucher for one of our tickets. The voucher (printed or digital) is sufficient to gain your admittance to the Berlin Residence Concert events.

Can I cancel or re-schedule my reservation?

In general, you may not cancel a reservation and receive a refund.

Do you offer group discounts? How can I purchase a group ticket?

We offer discounts for groups of ten (10) or more people. For more detailed information and to book a reservation, please e-mail your request to gruppenservice@orangerie.berlin. Please include:
o Your name
o Date you would like to attend
o Number of guests in attendance
o Arrangement (concert / dinner & concert / palace tour, dinner & concert / etc.)
o Section (VIP, A, B, or C)

How can I use a gift certificate someone has given me?

Are there discounts for children, students and persons with disabilities?

Discounts apply only to concert prices.
o Children ages 3 – 6 may attend the concert for free.
o Children ages 6 – 14 receive a 50% discount for concert tickets.
o Students receive a 15% discount for concert tickets.
Please understand that we do not allow children under the age of three into the concert.
A companion accompanying a person with a disability may attend the concert for free.
All visitors must pay the full price (39 €) for dinner.

Are my seats reserved?

When you purchase concert tickets, you may select in which section (VIP, A, B or C) you would like to sit. Withhin the section we assign you a seat.
Tables are assigned for the dinner.

How can I order a vegetarian meal? What if I have food allergies?

To order a vegetarian menu, make a special culinary request, or notify the kitchen staff of any food allergies you may have, simply enter your request in the “comments” section of the online order form – or tell your ticketing agent to make a note when making a reservation on the phone or in person.

How to find us

How can I get to Charlottenburg Palace with public transit?
The following public transit lines will bring you to the Great Orangery:
o S-Bahn: Ring S41/S42 Westend (10 minutes by foot / 700 meters to the Great Orangery)
o U-Bahn: U7 Richard-Wagner-Platz (15 minutes by foot / 1 km to the Great Orangery)
o Bus: M45 or 309 to Klausenerplatz (3 minutes by foot / 200 meters to the Great Orangery)

What is the event schedule?

Concert days with dinner
o 5:30 PM: doors open for dinner
o 6:00 PM: dinner begins
o 7:30 PM: the doors open for the concert
o 8:00 PM the concert begins; the concert lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes
o 9:45 PM: concert ends.

Concert days without dinner

o 7:30 PM: the doors open for the concert

Does the orchestra play period instruments?

No, our orchestra members do not play on period instruments.

How can I get home after the performance?

You can access the following public transit lines from the Great Orangery:

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

The Great Orangery is wheelchair accessible. The White Hall in the New Wing is not wheelchair accessible. For more information regarding wheel accessibility at Charlottenburg Palace, please look here.
Please note that for concerts in the New Wing, there is a 6-minute walk (400 meters) between the dinner venue (former Theater / Museum) and the concert venue.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, if there are tickets available you can purchase them at the door. For concerts, this is usually (but not always!) possible. For dinner, however, we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance, as we often sell out.

May I take photos or film during the concert?

No, taking photos or filming is not allowed during the concert.

I lost something when attending a concert, how can I get it back?

All lost items will be held at the Small Orangery (Orangerie Berlin GmbH, Spandauer Damm 22, 14059 Berlin). To inquire about an item, please call +49 (0)30 258 10 35 01.
