Measures for Hygiene and Protection

We look forward to welcoming you again to the Berlin Residence Concerts. On this page we have summarized the most important information about your concert visit. The page is regularly updated by us in accordance with the currently available resolutions by the Berlin Senate. Please note that the provisions in the hygiene rules can change at short notice before the start of the event.

Admission to our concerts

3G concerts 

Access to our concerts is currently only possible under 3G conditions. Access is therefore only granted to guests who are either vaccinated, recovered or tested. Please bring a digitally readable proof of your vaccination or recovery status with you (digital or printed QR code).

Digital proof of vaccination: Certificate of vaccination with a vaccine against Covid-19 approved by the European Union, the last required vaccination was at least 14 days ago. 
Digital proof of recovery: Certificate of a positive PCR test result more than six months ago for an infection with the SARS-CoV-19 coronavirus in connection with at least one vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine approved by the European Union that was at least 14 days ago or proof of a positive PCR test result for an infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-19 from at least 28 days and no more than six months ago.

Mask requirement

At our concerts there is a continuous mask requirement (FFP2 mask). 
If you are unable to wear mouth and nose protection for health reasons, you will not be able to attend our concerts. 

Minimum distance

The minimum distance of 1.5 m applies.

Hygiene advice

Always sneeze and cough in the crook of your arm. Please wash and disinfect your hands before and after each interaction. Hand disinfectants are provided for you throughout the interior. 

Box Office & Ticketing

How does the box office work and can I buy tickets on location before the concert?

Tickets for the Berliner Residence Concerts can be obtained as per usual; in our web shop, by phoning 030 258 10 35 0 (Mo – Fr 08:00 – 18:00), in the museum shop of Altes Schloss von Schloss Charlottenburg (Tu – Su 10:00 – 17:00) and at the box office up to 30 minutes before concert begin.

What happens with my tickets if a concert is cancelled?

If a concert must be cancelled for reasons relating to COVID, you will be able to swap tickets bought over our web-shop or hotline for no extra charge. Please inform us of your booking number and the alternative concert you wish to visit.

If you purchased your tickets from a third-party provider, we ask that you contact them directly to change your booking. 

Can I change my booking in case of illness?

Yes, we have changed our requirements for rebooking to address the exceptional current circumstances. Should you feel ill or have another reason to no longer wish to attend one of our concerts, we will swap any tickets already purchased through our web-shop or hotline for an alternative concert or a voucher.

Should you have purchased tickets through a third party, we request that you contact them directly. 

How do I make an appointment for a test and what kinds of test are accepted?

Please ensure you make an appointment at a test centre of your choice, ahead of the concert.
We only accept tests from certified test centres.

How is admission controlled?

Admission to the concert is strictly controlled. Every guest (except for guests who belong to a single booking) will be welcomed individually and accompanied to their seat by a member of staff.

Can I choose my seats freely?

Yes. However, we ask that you do not move as soon as you have taken your seat.

Is there a place to purchase refreshments?

Currently we are unable to offer any refreshments at the venue.

Is there access to toilets?

Yes, the toilets are operational.

In what circumstances would guests not be allowed to attend?

Please ensure you stay at home if you experience symptoms such as a dry cough, throat ache, loss of taste or smell, difficulty breathing, body aches, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or if you had contact with a COVID-19 patient in the last 14 days. Entry to our venues can not be permitted in these cases.
