Measures for Hygiene and Protection

It is with great pleasure that we can welcome you back to our Berlin Residence Concerts. On this page you will find a summary of the most important information pertaining to your visit.

This page is updated regularly in accordance with the most recent regulations of the Berlin Senate. However, please be aware that the Hygiene regulations are subject to change and can change right up to the start of the concert.

Admittance to our concerts

To be admitted to one of our concerts, you will require the following documents:

  • Your concert tickets
  • A personal negative SARS-CoV-2-Antigen Test from the same day, or proof of full vaccination with at least a 14-day period since the final vaccination. If you contracted Corona in the last 6 months, and your recovery was at least 28 days before the concert, we can also accept a corresponding notice of recovery from a doctor or government official.
  • A Photo ID

Our concerts adhere to the current hygiene regulations of the Berlin Senate.

For your own protection, as well as those of your fellow concert goers, we ask that you also adhere to our hygiene regulations. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who violates these guidelines. In this case there will not be an opportunity to return or refund the concert tickets.

Hygiene Regulations

A medical mask must be worn in all rooms of the venue. It can only be removed when seated in your designated seat. Please bring your own fresh mask.

Please remember to use the disinfectant spray from the dispensers provided.

Cough and sneeze into the bend of your arm.

Ensure the minimum safe distance of 1,5m from person to person is observed.

At this time, we are unable to offer a wardrobe service. In the White Hall you will find lockers for your usage, which can be used with a 1€ or 2€ coin.

Bags larger than DIN A5 are not permitted.

Attendance to our concerts is not permitted for those showing symptoms of illness, or those who have been in contact with a COVID-19 patient in the last 14 days.

Box Office & Ticketing

How does the box office work and can I buy tickets on location before the concert?

Tickets for the Berliner Residence Concerts can be obtained as per usual; in our web shop, by phoning 030 258 10 35 0 (Mo – Fr 08:00 – 18:00), in the museum shop of Altes Schloss von Schloss Charlottenburg (Tu – Su 10:00 – 17:00) and at the box office up to 30 minutes before concert begin.

What happens with my tickets if a concert is cancelled?

If a concert must be cancelled for reasons relating to COVID, you will be able to swap tickets bought over our web-shop or hotline for no extra charge. Please inform us of your booking number and the alternative concert you wish to visit.

If you purchased your tickets from a third-party provider, we ask that you contact them directly to change your booking. 

Can I change my booking in case of illness?

Yes, we have changed our requirements for rebooking to address the exceptional current circumstances. Should you feel ill or have another reason to no longer wish to attend one of our concerts, we will swap any tickets already purchased through our web-shop or hotline for an alternative concert or a voucher.

Your visit to the Berlin Residence Concerts

Requirements for admission to our concerts

How do I make an appointment for a test and what kinds of test are accepted?

We do not offer tests at the concert venue. Please ensure you make an appointment at a test centre of your choice, ahead of the concert.
We only accept tests from certified test centres.

How is admission controlled?

Admission to the concert is strictly controlled. Every guest (except for guests who belong to a single booking) will be welcomed individually and accompanied to their seat by a member of staff.

Will I be required to give my contact details?

We are obligated to collect the contact details (name, address, telephone number) from all audience members. To do so we utilise the Luca App or a paper form which can be acquired at the venue.

Can I choose my seats freely?

No, you will be assigned a seat at the venue according to the order of arrival.

Is there a place to purchase refreshments?

Currently we are unable to offer any refreshments at the venue.

Is there access to toilets?

Yes, the toilets are operational.

In what circumstances would guests not be allowed to attend?

Please ensure you stay at home if you experience symptoms such as a dry cough, throat ache, loss of taste or smell, difficulty breathing, body aches, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or if you had contact with a COVID-19 patient in the last 14 days. Entry to our venues can not be permitted in these cases.
