Schloss Caputh
Caputh Palace is the oldest surviving pleasure palace from the time of Elector Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg in the cultural landscape of Potsdam.
The castle is an art-historical jewel that like precious few other castles has survived its eventful history almost unchanged.
Picturesquely located on the banks of the Havel, the castle has a landscape garden with an imposing plantation of old trees, created following the plans of Peter Joseph Lenné.
In addition to being used as a museum, the palace and palace gardens now host concerts and exhibitions all year round.
